Relm Quantity Surveyors was established in 2013 offering Quantity Surveying services across New Zealand. With so much at stake, so many choices, decisions, legislation’s… it makes sense to start with us. We offer more than a per square metre rate. A lot of factors affect the pricing of your construction project starting from foundations, local government rules, geographic areas, types of finishes and style of house to name a few. We break your building components down into a schedule, we measure and using our database of costings, calculate. In some instances we can also shop around for prices. With a QS estimate document in hand, you can commit to working drawings with confidence or tender your job knowing everyone is pricing the same thing, allowing the same standard of finish and products in your build.

Whether you have concept plans or final working drawings, we can be flexible to suit your requirements. We provide a collaborative and proactive approach to all of our projects and recognise the importance of every idea from the first consultation to the moment they turn the key.

Have a smooth design and build experience, thanks to quality cost estimates that you can rely on.

"I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years, including 15 years as a Quantity Surveyor. I have experience in Residential and Light Commercial building, completing Schedules for Builders, Housing Companies, Merchants, Sub trades and Home Owners. In which time I have produced schedules for all levels of building from alterations through to rest homes and multimillion dollar buildings.

Spending my youth in Pleasant Point I moved to Christchurch and returned to Pleasant Point in 2010 to follow job opportunities and develop my career further. I moved with my wife and three children. My Family & I enjoy living in the South Canterbury area and I returned to play Cricket for Pleasant Point Cricket Club. I am currently JAB coordinator of the Pleasant Point Cricket Club and I am also a leader at the local scout group in the community of Pleasant Point."

"I have worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, starting off studying Architectural Technology at CPIT when I left school. After working for a building supply company in Christchurch in numerous roles, I have spent the last 10 years as a Quantity Surveyor for large Nationwide Housing Company. Moving to Timaru and working for Relm was an exciting new direction for me, and I enjoy the new challenges it continually presents.

Born in Ashburton, but spending most of my life in Christchurch, Timaru is now my home. I am a father to three beautiful girls, who amaze and delight me as they grow up. I enjoy architecture, movies, and travelling around and seeing this beautiful and diverse country of ours."
